“Time” is a collective body of work that explores the dynamic flux between presence and memory. The collection uses abstract form and vibrant colour as a means to investigate the experience of time – not as a linear progression, but as a layered and dynamic force. Drawing from the inherent energy of movement, the pieces seek to capture the feeling of moments unfolding and dissolving.
Each piece in the collection considers what it means to be seen, appreciated, or remembered in the present. The focus is on the temporary nature of attention, the quiet loss behind outward beauty, and the moments that pass despite desperation to document and cling onto them. Bold vibrant hues are combined with dynamic forms to create energy and movement within the paintings, drawing the viewer’s attention and emphasizing moments of intensity. These works reflect the fleeting nature of attention and how beauty and focus can be powerful yet temporary.
This specific collection is intentionally presented as a stationery line, making the work accessible, approachable and tangible to all. The selection of prints, postcards, notebooks, bookmarks and such, are more than just functional objects: they are invitations to pause, to reflect on time’s passing, and to find beauty in the transient.
As an artist, I hope this collection prompts people to consider what remains when beauty and appearances fade, and perhaps remember to hold the precious and vibrant moments of life ever closer.
